About the role

Join Sydney Airport’s Facilities Management team as a Senior Analyst, Energy & Utilities, where you’ll play a key part in managing the utilities that keep Australia’s busiest airport running. This is a pivotal role supporting energy efficiency initiatives and delivering benefit analysis on a wide range of equipment and products. You’ll be at the heart of our efforts to drive sustainability, operational excellence, and commercial value across the airport precinct.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to
 

• Identify and implement energy and utilities efficiency improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Drive data-driven conversations using analytics and reporting tools (including PowerBI) to inform decision-making.
• Prepare utilities budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports, ensuring high data accuracy.
• Analyze and report on utilities billing, usage, and variances, supporting financial processes and resolving discrepancies.
• Deliver commercial analysis to assist with tenancy pricing and support the on-charging process for tenants.
• Establish and maintain best practice processes for energy and utilities data, billing management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you
 

• Several years’ experience in an Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record in analytics and administration.
• Degree qualified, with sound financial management knowledge and basic understanding of energy market operations and tariff structures.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerBI skills desirable).
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Committed, positive, and reliable, with a collaborative approach and a focus on delivering results.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and the end-to-end process of utilities data collection to billing.
