Working within a tech -driven MGA, this role requires someone who not only has a strong grounding within the London Market sector but is also comfortable working within an Agile framework. The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables. This individual will thrive in a fast -paced environment, take ownership of their work, and be prepared to “roll up their sleeves” to ensure successful project delivery.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span> <\/span>
<\/p>

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, underwriters, operations, and technology teams to capture, analyse, and prioritise requirements.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows within an Agile delivery model.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Facilitate workshops, stand -ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support ongoing product and project delivery.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work with developers, testers, and product owners to ensure requirements are understood, implemented, and validated against business goals.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance digital workflows, underwriting platforms, and operational efficiencies.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, system design, and London Market compliance/regulatory standards.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist with data mapping, systems integration, and UAT planning/execution.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Proactively flag risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep delivery on track.<\/span>

    Key Skills & Competencies:<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Strong knowledge of London Market insurance operations, products, and processes.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with Technical documentation, such as UML, Data modelling, etc.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proven experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), with hands -on involvement in ceremonies and artefact creation.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non -technical audiences.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into structured, actionable steps.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong documentation skills, including process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Self -starter attitude with a proactive, problem -solving approach.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Adaptable and resilient in a fast -moving, evolving business environment.<\/span>

      Qualifications & Experience:<\/span>
      <\/p>

      • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the London Market insurance sector.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Demonstrated track record of delivering change in Agile environments.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience with insurance technology platforms, data integrations, and digital workflows.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Confluence, and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Relevant BA or Agile certifications (e.g., BCS, IIBA, CSM, SAFe) desirable but not essential.<\/span>
