Position: Senior Tax Manager
Salary: $160K-$205K/yr DOE

Position Overview
The Senior Tax Manager plays a key leadership role within the firm's Private Client and Nonprofit practice, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and consultation services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and nonprofit organizations. This position combines deep technical expertise with client relationship management and business development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex trust and estate taxation engagements, including preparation, review, and planning for multi-generational wealth transfers.
  • Coordinate and oversee tax compliance for nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and charitable entities.
  • Provide proactive consultation and advisory services to clients on advanced tax issues, including estate planning strategies, philanthropic structuring, and entity formation.
  • Develop, expand, and maintain strong client relationships; identify opportunities for new business through consultation and networking.
  • Manage and mentor staff, ensuring quality control and technical accuracy across all client engagements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and fiduciary partners to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
  • Stay current on federal and state tax laws impacting estates, trusts, and exempt organizations.

Qualifications

  • CPA license required; JD or Masters in Taxation/ Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in trust and estate taxation, with significant exposure to complex wealth structures.
  • Proven experience advising nonprofit organizations on tax compliance and governance matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of income, fiduciary, and estate tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain clients through consultative and relationship-based approaches.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
