Tax Senior

RPR Consulting, AAC is looking for full time tax staff and tax seniors with strong tax experience as it relates to real estate companies and high net worth individuals. Qualified candidates must be well organized, self-motivated, ability to manage staff, multi-task, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Analyze, on an advanced level, tax data and supervise the progress of work on client engagements.

• Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate client provided tax data to determine proper reporting of activities.

• Organize own work and delegate and control work assignments so engagements are completed in accordance with the firm performance standards, budgets and firm deadlines.

• Review tax compliance and consulting products for quality assurance procedures for final delivery.

• Perform tax research and prepare memorandums in order to assist Directors in tax consulting projects.

• Maintain direct working relationships with clients.

• Provide leadership, training, and administrative direction to motivate and develop the capabilities of staff members and peers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or Taxation, and a minimum of two years of income tax related experience working with partnerships, S corporations, trusts and high net worth individuals in the real estate industry. The candidate should have a working knowledge of income tax authorities and tax research materials, and be able to apply that tax law knowledge to tax compliance and consulting projects.

In addition, the candidate must have a CPA license or be a candidate for a CPA license. Computer skills required with working knowledge of Excel mandatory and preferred working knowledge of Prosystems. Excellent team player with a customer service focus is critical.
